Victor M. Velazquez Sr., 69, of Reading, passed March 8th in Manorcare, West Reading.

He was the widower of Virgenmina Velazquez.

Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Juan and Hipolita (Romero) Velazquez.

Victor was a member of St. Peter’s RCC, Reading.

He worked for Aluminum Alloys as a grinder for 18 years, retiring in 2007.

He is survived by his children; Luis A. husband of Lalita Velazquez, Victor M. husband of Carla Velazquez, Miguel A. Velazquez, and Jose A. Velazquez, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, brother, Antonio, sister, Rosin, and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 14th at 9:30 AM in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 322 S. 5th St., Reading. Viewings will be held in Henninger Funeral Home, 229 N. 5th St., Reading, Friday evening from 7 to 9 PM and Saturday 8 to 9 AM. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
