Carolyn Jimski, 85, formerly of Reading, passed on January 18th in Reading Hospital.
She was the widow of the late Richard C. Jimski who passed in 1994.
Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late Carroll S. and H. Lynnette (Rhoads) Dick.
She was a graduate of the Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing.
Carolyn last worked at Community General Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the OBGYN Dept.
She served as an Assistant Girl Scout Leader and volunteered as a Library Assistant at the former Pennside Elementary School. She was a avid Bridge Club player and was an expert at needlework, serving as a test stitcher for Dimension’s, Reading.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane (Jimski) wife of Bruce Clemens of Vermont, Laurie (Jimski) wife of George Christian of Oley, Nancy (Jimski) wife of Kenneth Clemens of Virginia and Debra Jimski of Reading. There are also 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter on the way. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Eleanor Bergstraser.
Funeral service will be held Friday January 29th in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:30 PM. Viewing will be from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. Interment will be in Laureldale Cemetery.
