Lewis H. Reaser Jr., 66, of Reading, passed March 20th in his residence.
Born in Reading, PA he was the son of the late Lewis H. Reaser Sr. and Sara (Southworth) Reaser.
Lewis was a Vietnam War veteran, he earned Sgt. E-5 and received all foreign overseas medals along with Army Commendation plus Army Commendation with 1st Oakleaf Cluster.
He served as Pastor at Cotton Street Ministry Center and also served at Teen Challenge as Counselor and Associate Chaplain. He was also a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God.
He was a professional drummer, playing with the Motiques and Jessie & COCO.
He is survived by his children, Angie Matz, Chad Jeter, Shelly Reaser and Vincent Reaser, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc. Friday from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Interment will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or the Berks County Dept. of Veterans Affairs.
