Charles W. Mengel, age 82, passed away on October 15, 2017, at the Berks Heim Home. He is survived by sons, Matthew (Oley) and Brad (Douglassville), as well as sisters Maria Moyer (Topton) and Lora Everhart (Earlville), along with numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by parents, Charles and Mary, as well as sisters, Elaine Atkinson and Margaret Stewart.

Chas was a 1952 graduate of Amity High School, Albright College and an Air Force veteran.

Charles' family would like to thank the staff at Berks Heim for the special care and love they gave to him. Burial will be private.
