Maria Armstrong, 59, of Sinking Spring, passed November 25th with her family by her side in Reading Hospital due to complications from cancer.

She was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Teofilo and Andrea DeJesus Cruz.

She worked for Sunoco Partners, LLC for many years.

She is survived by her brothers, Teofilo and William DeJesus Cruz. Maria was a proud Aunt to Jacklyn, Jason, Joshua and Jennifer DeJesus. She is also survived by her beloved partner, Nicholas Johnson and loved his daughters, Monique and Nicole as her own.

The family would like to thank Reading Hospital McGlinn Cancer Institute, Fox Chase Cancer Center and Manorcare, Sinking Spring for all the love and care they provided during Maria’s battle.

A prayer service will be held Friday at 11 AM in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc., 229 N. 5th St. Reading. Viewing will be from 9 AM to time of service.

Interment will follow service in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
