Philip Chirieleison, 90, formerly of Reading, passed July 20th in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Born in Reading, PA he was the son of the late Rocco and Edigia (Emmi) Chirieleison.

Philip was a veteran of WWI serving with the Navy.

He was a member of Holy Rosary RCC, Reading and served for many years on the Board for the Spartaco Club, Reading.

He had previously owned and operated the P&M Grocery store and 3rd & Spruce Luncheonette in Reading. He last worked at Southwest Elementary School as the building custodian.

He is survived by a son, Rocco Chirieleison of North Port, FL, brother, Richard Chirieleison, 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 2nd at 10 AM in the Chapel of Resurrection in Gethsemane Cemetery with entombment to follow. A viewing will be held prior to Mass in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc. 229 N. 5th St. Reading from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.
