Jorge A. Betancourt, 50, of West Reading, passed November 14th in his residence.

He was the husband of Carmen Bonet.

Born in Reading, PA he was the son of Blanca I. Rivera and Manuel A. Betancourt, husband of Judith Betancourt.

Jorge was a die hard Boston Red Sox and 49er’s fan. He especially loved to play arcade games at the Work’s and play Dominoes in his spare time.

He is also survived by his sons, Jorge Betancourt Jr. and Eduardo Betancourt; stepchildren, Kimberly Rodriguez, Daniel Garcia and Eliezer Bonet; 7 grandchildren and siblings, Inez Betancourt Morales, Madeline Betancourt Humes, Nilda Betancourt, Anthony Betancourt, Daniel Betancourt, Natalia Jimenez, Zabrina Morales and Eric Santiago.

Viewing will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM and Tuesday morning from 10 to 11 AM in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc. 229 N. 5th St., Reading. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
