Sigilfredo Ortiz, 67, of Reading passed October 7th in his residence.

He was the companion of Nilda Nieves.

Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of Domingo Ortiz and Nellie Rodriguez.

Sigilfredo worked for the Rose Corp.., Reading since it’s opening in 1987 as a welder.

He is survived by a son, Alfredo Ortiz; daughters, Marilyn Ortiz, Elizabeth Ortiz and Liliana Ortiz; stepdaughters, Magda Konemann and Sylvia “Sissy” Monet and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and ex- spouse, Madeline Ortiz. .

A visitation and prayer service will be held Saturday October 17th in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc. 229 N. 5th St. Reading, PA from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Charles Evans Cemetery.
