Carmen Alicea, 85, formerly of Reading, passed July 1, 2017 in her daughter’s West Lawn residence.

Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Thomas Alicea and Venacia Delgado.

She is survived by daughters, Lucrecia Martinez Miller and Felicita Martinez Pruitt, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a brother, Domingo Alicea. She was pre-deceased by a son, Alejandro Lopez Jr. in 2004.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday July 8th at 9:30 AM in St. Peter’s RCC., Reading. Viewings will be held Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM and Saturday from 8 to 9 AM in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc. 229 N. 5th St., Reading. Interment will be in Laureldale Cemetery.
