Condolences

Condolence From: Chris Young
Condolence: I got to know Charley shortly after getting my first car in 1981, visited him many times to buy parts and get advice. I am still interested in cars today, and still have that '57 Chevy. Many thanks and good memories to Charley also for starting THE BEST cruise nights in Berks County and beyond, during those Super Chevy Weekends! We all miss them! Please accept my condolences.

Condolence: I am so very sorry for your loss of Charles, even though I didn't get to know him personally. Losing a dear loved one in death can be very distressing to go through. My sincere condolences go out to all the friends and family. Something that has helped me during times as these is found in the Bible at Revelation 21:4 where it says,"God will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore; the former things have passed away." What a wonderful time that will be. Imagine no more suffering and death like we see today, they will be a thing of the past! For more comforting promises from the Bible check out jw.org.

Condolence From: John Weidner
Condolence: Charlie and I were [friendly] cross town rivals in the early days of our business's in the late 60's/early 70's. I used to run into him up at Carlisle in the 80's, where he was selling parts and chatting with his many friends and customers. I haven't seen him in over 20 years, but always admired him for being able to turn his lifelong love of cars into a prosperous business and lifestyle. My condolences to his family. John Weidner
