Obituary for Thomas W. Bocian

Thomas W. Bocian, 71, of Reading, passed July 14th in Penn State Health St. Joseph’s.

He was the husband of Linda (Steffy) Bocian.

Born in Reading, PA he was the son of Adam and Stella (Pawlewicz) Bocian.

Tom and his wife loved going on vacations. They loved cruising and last year they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on a cruise with their family and friends.

He loved watching the Simpsons and old John Wayne movies. He was also an avid train collector and loved going up to his train room and tinkering for hours.

He was a loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan and was happy to see them finally won a super bowl.

He is also survived by his children, Scott A. Bocian, Sharon L., wife of Bryan Dohn and Mark T., husband of Nichole Bocian. There are also 6 grandchildren, Mychael, Krystal, Darius, Kalene, Dylan and Tyler; great grandchildren, Liliya, T.J. and Pierce; sisters, Mary Foreman, Rebecca Eadline, Theresa Balatgek and Sandra Balatgek; and brother, James Bocian.
