Ruth L. Caltagirone, 67, of Reading, passed away September 2nd in her home.

Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of John P. and Ruth L. (Chamberlain) Santoro of Lewes, DE.

Ruth loved to fish, she was especially proud of the huge carp that she caught! She loved her family, kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

She is survived by sons, Thomas R. Caltagirone, Samuel J. Caltagirone and John M. Caltagirone; daughter, Stella J. Caltagirone; brothers, Nicholas Santoro husband of Marcy Santoro, John Santoro husband of Cheryl Santoro, and Robert Santoro; sister, Marie (Santoro) wife of Brian Schubel and grandchildren, Brent Caltagirone, Celeste Caltagirone, Joby Adams, Tianna, Darion, Dallas and Sarah Turner; Samantha, Hailey and Ethan Caltagirone, Briana Roth, Caitlyn and John Caltagirone Jr. and great grandchildren, Lyric, Ava, Emily, Ezra, Rafael, Peyton and Paxton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday September 11th at 10 AM in Holy Rosary RCC, 237 Franklin St., Reading, PA. Viewings will be held in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc. 229 N. 5th St. Reading on Monday September 10th from 6 to 8 PM and Tuesday September 11th 8:30 to 9:30 AM prior to Mass. Interment will be private in Gethsemane Cemetery.
