Obituary for Ella F. Pelter

Ella F. Pelter, lovingly known as Toni, 77, Reading, died Jan. 13th, 2019, in Reading Hospital surrounded by her family after a brief battle with lung cancer.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa, she was the youngest daughter of the late Guy and Violet (Baehr) Naugle, her husband George Pelter passed in 1989.

Toni is survived by her children Fredericka Molina, Charles Noll (Sandy), April Schaetzle (Joe), Glenn Noll, Thomasina Hanna (James), Patricia Wright (Jimmie), and Irene Davis, her great niece, whom she always referred to as one of her daughters.

Throughout her life she was employed working various jobs including a crossing guard for The City of Reading for many years. Her most rewarding was that of being a caretaker and later in life a Foster Grandparent. For over 10 years she was well known
at Amanda E Stout Elementary and The Olivet’s Boys and Girls Club, Clinton St.

Other survivors include two sisters, Alfreda Dawson and Roberta Martin, 44 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Sat 1/26/19 at Hope Lutheran Church, 601 N Front St at 1pm. A repass will follow at the American Legion, 237 N 3rd St.
