Obituary for Luz A. Laborde Penafiel
Luz Amada Laborde Penafiel, 85, of Muhlenberg Township, passed August 29th in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Manuel A. Drouet Castro.
Born in Ecuador, she was the daughter of Maximiliano Laborde and Delfina Penafiel.
She is survived by children, Delfina Trinidad Velasco Laborde of Reading, Maria Anderson of Miami, Manuel A. Drouet Laborde, husband of Glenda Reyes of Muhlenberg and Luz Amada Sanz, wife of Marco Sanz of Reading; grandchildren, Esther A. Mendieta wife of Javier Garcia, Juan Mendieta fiancé of Aida Velez, Jorge Cordova husband of Karen Blanco-Cordova, Manuel A. Drouet Reyes fiancé of Emilia Villao, Victor Vera, Ariel Cordova, Santiago Drouet and Milena Drouet; great grandchildren, Yunelsie, Dereck, Odette, Itaty, Javier, Jorge, Jaylin, Jalyah and Jaylanie.
A viewing will be held Monday from 5 to 8 PM in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc.
Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
