Born in Reading, PA he was the son of James Lane and Marcia Foster.
He is also survived by stepparents, Joe Ortiz and Lurentha Lane; his children, Sanaa Lane, Jayleen Lane, Dominique Lane Jr., Jocef Lane, Jalsaya Lane, Jaycean Lane, Jayvion Lane and Isabella Almonte; brothers, Kyle and Elijah Lane and a sisters, China Lane and Atiana Graham; Aunts, Tamara, Jolynne, Leslie, Vickie, Cindy and Melanie; Uncles, Luis, Arvel, Dedrick, Xavier, Dexter and Darryl, nieces, Kehlani, Kimmorie, Kahlia and Lailani; nephew, Kross and a host of cousins, great Aunts, Uncles and grandfather, William Glasco. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Kahlil Meade and beloved grandparents, Ruth Foster, Maxine Lane, and James Lane.
