Obituary for Jane A. Emes (Wayne)
Jane A. Emes, 89, of Hamburg, passed December 23rd in Penn State Health St. Joseph’s.
She was the widow of Robert E. Emes who passed in 1979.
Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of Clarence and Maggie (Mehle) Wayne.
She was a lifetime member of the Olivet’s Boy’s and Girl’s Club Ladies Auxiliary and was a foster grandparent for many years.
She is survived by sons, Kim R. Emes, Kevin W. Emes and wife Elaine, Daryl L. and wife Pamela, Dean R. Emes and wife Carol; daughter, Denise J. (Emes) and husband Michael Gabala; 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday December 29th at 12 Noon in Vinemont Community Lutheran Church, 1278 Fritztown Rd., Reinholds, PA.
Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow service in Laureldale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Olivet’s Boy’s & Girl’s Club of Reading & Berks County or Vinemont Community Lutheran Church.
