Evelyn Drezner Obituary
We are sad to announce the passing of Evelyn Drezner (nee Rudnick) on January 2, 2021. She was the daughter of Sonia and Michael Rudnick. Evelyn attended Reading High School and graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Speech Pathology. While at Syracuse, she met Edward Drezner on a blind date and they were married March 16, 1952. She raised two sons, Jess, (husband of Robin) and Dean, (husband of Amy). Evelyn worked for the Reading School District as a speech teacher. Evelyn was an accomplished pianist, bridge and tennis player. She was the proud grandmother of Hillary (Alan Walkow), Rachel, Julie and Renee and great-grandmother of Maxie and Dylan. Services will be held at the discretion of the family. Donations can be made to the Bud Wechsler and Doc Greene Wellness Fund, c/o of the Jewish Community Center of Pittsburgh (412-521-8010); Jewish Federation of Reading (610-921-0624) or any charity of your choice.
