Obituary for Earle W. Moyer Jr.
Earle W. Moyer Jr., 91, of Muhlenberg Township, passed peacefully at home.
Earle was the loving husband of Joan (Eiche) Moyer to whom he was married to for 70 years.
Born in Reading, PA he was the son of the late Earle Moyer Sr. and Minnie (DeTurk) Moyer.
Earle last worked as manager of the purchasing department at GAI-Tronics until his retirement.
Earle was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Reading. He was known for his great sense of humor and enjoyed golfing and fishing in his spare time. He also enjoyed watching local sports, and closely followed the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by, daughter, Vicki (Moyer) Angstadt, widow of Robert Angstadt, Kim (Moyer) Olson, wife of Michael Olson and Lori (Moyer) Hartman, wife of Todd Hartman; grandchildren, Jared and Joni Angstadt, Jenifer Davis, Aubree (Olson) wife of Jason Pylypczuk, Vann Olson and Kalee (Olson) Jones, wife of Austin Jones; great-grandchildren, Adley and Eva. He was pre-deceased by a son, Scott Moyer.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday July 18th in Good Shepard Evangelical Lutheran Church, Muhlenberg Township at 4:00 PM.
