Obituary for Paul E. Scull II

Paul E. Scull II, 69, passed March 23rd in Penn State Health St. Joseph’s.

He was the husband of Marianne “Tudie” (Price) Scull.

Born in Reading, PA he was the son of Paul E. Scull and Leora (Doll) Scull.

Paul was a 1970 graduate of Reading High School.

He served in the Air Force Reserves and worked for West Chester University for 30 years in facilities management.

Paul was a local musician, performing at many local venues. He was the founder of two bands; “Midnight Wind” and “The Fact”. Later, he partnered with fellow musician, Harry Prutzman performing as a duo and lastly with Jim Hinnershitz, forming the duo, “Stone Soup”. For all his musical talents, Paul was inducted into the Berks Historical Society Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a sister, Joanne Fister, wife of Joe Fister; brother, Terry Scull; stepdaughter, Margo Musgnug, wife of Mike Musgnug and three nephews and one niece.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
