Patricia Ann Rogers was born in Edgecombe County, NC on February 25, 195 to the late Clara Taylor Jones, and Arthur Lee Williams. She is proceeded in death by her husband Raymond Rogers, and her two brothers Freddie Jones & Anthony Jones. She is survived by her son William Ellis Jr.

Patricia attended Pattillo High School and graduated in 1969. Shortly after graduating she decided to start her new life in Brooklyn NY. Patricia affectionately known as Pat loved spending time with her family, and she also loved kids as she called them her babies. Patricia was a foster parent for many years, caring for and loving every foster child that was in her care, while also working as nurse assistant.

After retiring from JFK airport in NY later in her life Patricia decided to move to Reading PA closer to her son, where she departed her earthly life a few years later at her home.

Pat was always laughing and full of joy. She loved her son, and grandchildren with all her heart. She enjoyed cooking, fixing up her new home, and working in her yard. Pat had two special sisters that she loved dearly... Lois Ann, and her adopted sister Jasheba. She also had a special place in her heart for her brother-in-law and joking partner Calvin who kept her laughing, and one special cousin Pauline Jones (Sugarfoot).

Patricia leaves to cherish her memories: One son William Ellis Jr. of the home, six sisters Delois Baker (Calvin) of Tarboro, NC, Brenda Bullock of Pinetops NC, Linda Hagans of Tarboro NC, Ethel Jones of Greensboro NC, Teresa Mills of Suffolk VA, and Jasheba Jones of the home. One brother Milton Williams of Rocky Mount, NC, four grandchildren Laquan Bell of NY, Kareem Bell of NY, Navon Ellis of Baltimore MD, Jordan Sealey of NY. Two special uncles Benjamin Jones (Dorothy) of Tarboro, NC, and Benjamin Jones of Virginia. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
