Obituary for Carlos Rivera Negron
Carlos "Boricua" Rivera Negron, 77, of Muhlenberg Township, passed December 19th in his residence.
He was the widower of Aurora (Rivas) Rivera.
Born in Villalba, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Pedro Rivera and Anastasia Negron.
Carlos was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and worked at Grafika Printing for 25 years until his retirement.
He is survived by is children, Denise Perez, Jenise Perez, Dolly (Rivera) Paris, wife of Luis Paris, Carlos J. Rivera, and Solmarie Sena, wife of Luis DelValle; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. There are also two siblings, Mateo and Oscar Rivera.
A viewing will be held Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc. 229 N. 5th St., Reading, PA.
A Mass of Christian will follow in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 322 S. 5th St., Reading at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
