Thelma G. Grimes, 97, formerly of Reading, passed May 5, 2013 in Canyon Oaks Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Canoga Park, California.

She was the widow of George A. Grimes, who passed in 1981.

Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late William H. and Edna (Seiler) Bigony.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Reading.

She is survived by sons, Richard G. Grimes, of California and George W. Grimes, Ontario, Canada, grandchildren, Scott C. Grimes and Heather F. Blackstone, great grandchildren, Madison Grimes, Camryn Grimes, Dakota Grimes, Jackson Grimes and Payton Blackstone, and a sister, Glenora Vogt.

Graveside service will be held Monday at 11 AM in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Reading.
